Support St. Anselm's Parish

Our parish relies on the support of our parishioners to operate.  Parish salaries, programs, and ongoing operating costs (e.g., heating, water, electricity, building repairs, etc.) are funded through the generosity of our parish community.  Without the weekly offertory collection, it would be a challenge for our parish to maintain operations.

Here are the ways that you can continue to support our parish:

  1. Pre-Authorized Giving (PAG) Plan

What is Pre-Authorized Giving?

Pre-Authorized Giving (PAG) is a very simple donation method.  Your donation will be withdrawn from your bank account on the 20th day of each month.  This amount will then be transferred to the parish bank account.

Why should I participate?

ADVANTAGES for the the Parishioner:

  • convenience: your offering is made automatically every month
  • continual support of your home church even when you are away
  • no more searching for cash or cheques before Mass

ADVANTAGES for the Parish:

  • regular, dependable cash flow to the parish
  • reduced paperwork and staff time

How do I enroll?

You can enroll online using your debit/chequing account information. Make sure to select the "Donate Monthly" tab and "St. Anslem's Parish" in the Parish field.  Follow the steps and under the "Payment Options" step, select "Bank" and enter the information for your chequing account.

How does PAG replace my current giving?

You no longer need to drop an envelope in the collection basket for your weekly offering. Envelopes for special collections and offerings listed below are available in the church shortly before each collection:

  • New Year's Day - ShareLife - Good Friday (Needs of the Holy Land) - Easter - Pope's Pastoral Works - Marygrove Camp - Canadian Missions - Needs of the Canadian Church - World Missions - Shepherd's Trust - Christmas

    2.  Credit Card Giving Plan

What is Credit Card Giving?

Credit card giving is also a very straightforward donation method.  Your monthly donation will be charged to your credit card on the 1st day of each month.  The amount will then be transferred to the parish bank account.

Credit card giving has the added advantage of earning reward points for parishioners who participate in loyalty reward programs offered by their credit card provider.

How do I start?

You can enroll online to make a monthly credit card donation to the parish offertory.

You can also enroll online to make a monthly credit card donation for the parish building fund.

Ensure that you select the "Donate Monthly" tab and "St. Anslem's Parish" in the Parish field.  Follow the steps and under the "Payment Options" step, select "Credit Card" and enter the information for the credit card you would like to use.

    3.  Envelopes

You can request a box of envelopes from the church office to make weekly and special collections donations per calendar year.  You can place your donation envelope in the collection basket during any Saturday evening or Sunday Mass or drop it off at the church office.  Ensure that your name and address is on the envelope.

Annual tax receipts for all donations made through PAG, Credit Card, or envelopes will be issued. Thank you for your many contributions to our parish community!
