EcoAnselm is a spiritually-focused ecology group.

EcoAnselm

MISSION STATEMENT

EcoAnselm is a group of parishioners concerned about our common home. Through education, communication, action, and prayer, we endeavor to raise ecological awareness and change our behaviors in order to live a more sustainable lifestyle which respects God’s creation.

As individuals and as a parish community we seek to answer the urgent call of Pope Francis for “a new dialogue about how we are shaping the future of our planet,” since, “Everyone’s talents and involvement are needed to redress the damage caused by human abuse of God’s creation.” (Laudato Si’, p. 14)

TO BE A PARTICPANT OF ECOANSELM, YOU NEED

  • an appreciation of the gifts of God’s creation and a desire to protect them
  • an intent to learn about and incorporate more environmentally sustainable measures and ways to improve our manner of care for God’s creation.

WHAT IS INVOLVED IN BEING A PARTICPANT OF ECOANSELM?

  • EcoAnselm meets approximately once every four to six weeks. Specific meeting days are flexible and shift according to greatest upcoming availability of participants.
  • Most meetings are held in the Parish Hall and run from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m.
  • Members of EcoAnselm are involved in a variety of diverse efforts that strive to protect our earth’s shared resources.
