Hospitality Ministers

MISSION STATEMENT

The Hospitality Ministers ensure that all who come to church, whether to join, visit, or take part in a special service, are welcomed. The Hospitality ministry is established to create an atmosphere of fellowship for everyone who enters the church through a friendly welcome, knowledgeable information about the church, and help for those who need it.

ABOUT US

Hospitality Ministers participate in several ways during each Mass.  These include

  • welcoming parishioners as they enter the church for Mass
  • assisting with seating. particularly during high volume Masses (e.g., Easter, Christmas)
  • taking collections during Mass
  • selecting different parishioners per week to bring the gifts to the altar during the Offertory
  • distributing bulletins at the end of Mass

WHAT IT TAKES TO BE A HOSPITALITY MINISTER

To be a Hospitality Minister, you are expected to

  • be available to attend Mass on scheduled weekends
  • arrive 10-15 minutes ahead of Mass and remain for a few minutes following Mass to distribute bulletins to parishioners
