Good Shepherd Ministries Provide-A-Meal Program

MISSION STATEMENT

To respond to our calling to works of mercy.

“I was hungry and you gave me food…” MT 25:35

ABOUT US

St. Anselm’s Parish is one of many parishes supporting the Good Shepherd Ministries Provide-A-Meal Program. The organization provides disposable pans and a single recipe for each parish.  Their refrigerated van picks up the cooked frozen casseroles each month.  They were enabled in 2025 to serve 376,473 meals.

WHAT IT TAKES TO BE A CASSEROLE CHEF

  • Commit to cook one casserole bi-monthly (i.e., 6 casseroles per year). We provide pans and the recipe.
  • Bring the casserole to the kitchen in the church hall before Mass on the casserole due date. Due dates are published in the bulletin.

CONTACT

If you have the time and the resources to make one casserole bi-monthly, you too can help to feed the homeless.  Come join us!
