MISSION STATEMENT
The Hospitality Ministers ensure that all who come to church, whether to join, visit, or take part in a special service, are welcomed. The Hospitality ministry is established to create an atmosphere of fellowship for everyone who enters the church through a friendly welcome, knowledgeable information about the church, and help for those who need it.
ABOUT US
Hospitality Ministers participate in several ways during each Mass. These include
- welcoming parishioners as they enter the church for Mass
- assisting with seating. particularly during high volume Masses (e.g., Easter, Christmas)
- taking collections during Mass
- selecting different parishioners per week to bring the gifts to the altar during the Offertory
- distributing bulletins at the end of Mass
- assisting with Coffee Sundays, held approximately once every 6 weeks
WHAT IT TAKES TO BE A HOSPITALITY MINISTER
To be a Hospitality Minister, you are expected to
- be available to attend Mass on scheduled weekends
- arrive 10-15 minutes ahead of Mass and remain for a few minutes following Mass to distribute bulletins to parishioners
- assist with organizing a Coffee Sunday (if possible)
